Here are more signs you are holding onto trauma:
-You keep picking partners romantic, friends, business, especially romantic who are not good for you. Don't respect you. Take advantage of you. Manipulate you.
-You use sex to align with a person rather then aligning first emotionally, mentally, spiritually and then the sex piece falls into place beautifully. Is it time to stop using sex to make a connection?
-You are constantly stressed about people liking you, accepting you; fitting in.
-Believing you have no value; no worth.
-Comparing yourself to others through judgment and criticism; I'm not good enough filters.
-You have to constantly distract yourself with tv, watching videos on your laptop, scrolling, must always with people because being alone with yourself is uncomfortable, sex, in and out of relationships; substance abuse.
-Any addiction and addictive patterning is a result of trauma, unexpressed emotion and unresolved issues within. What if the next time this big energy stored inside was triggered, instead of reaching for food, alcohol, weed, credit cards to go shopping, cigarettes, you had a tool to address the emotion?
- People Pleasing. You compromise your values to please other people.
- Lack of trusting. Not being able to trust yourself or others.
- Joy is absent.
- You don't feel seen by others.
More Signs of an over taxed nervous system:
-clenching or grinding of teeth
-heart racing
-chest pain
-feeling like your nervous system and body are on alert
-high blood pressure
-frequent tingling or numbness
-dizziness
-can't sleep
-stomach and digestive issues
