What a build up we are having to Sunday's Solar
Eclipse. From all indication and messages I am receiving, it is going to be intensely felt and experienced by everyone. Much more then the recent Lunar Eclipse.
Solar Eclipse is on Sunday in the sign of Pisces. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac which holds the energy of Endings. A Solar Eclipse is a New Moon all jacked up, and we know New Moons to usher in New
Beginnings.
This Solar Eclipse is asking you to give up something (endings) in order to enjoy a fresh start, a new beginning. What you are being asked to give up might be a long held belief, a pattern, behavior, addiction, relationship, job, structure, a part of your daily routine, where you live etc....
If you are being asked to give something up it is because that
which you desire can't make its way into your experience until the old is gone and there is room for something New. This is NOT one of the situations where you can negotiate with Universe by saying: Bring ____ to me and then when it is here I will give up ______.
The giving up may be very easy to do and for some it might be difficult.
In some cases a true
heart felt giving up is all that is needed. Maybe you don't actually need to give that thing up.
Here's an illustration to bring this point home. There is a story in the Bible of Abraham and his son Issac. In Genesis 22 God asks Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son Issac. To give something up as a test of Faith. Abraham in the throws of obeying was stopped by God who praised his faithfulness and willingness to heed the words of the Lord
and provided a lamb caught in the thicket to be a sacrifice instead of Issac.
For some, a intention to release something that is heartfelt may be enough. Although I suspect for most reading this newsletter there will be an actually letting go of something.
That is what this week is all about--- Letting Go.
In order to get what you want. In order to planet those seeds of desire at Solar Eclipse New
Moon so your desire shows up in 5-6 months, what are you being asked to let go?
Everything that is happening in the Cosmos this week during the lead up to Solar Eclipse is helping you to identify what needs to go and assisting you in the process.
And Then Tomorrow Wednesday February 22nd you may hit a Wall of Resistance, when Mars and Pluto square off in the Cosmos. This meeting could be a bit nasty, explosive, tense as the
two do battle. This Cosmic Event is what prompted my reaching out again today.
The Mars Pluto square off is a bit of a Fight energy. Demanding. Challenging.
Both planets want their own way and neither wants to give an inch.
Mars is a fast moving action oriented planet and it just wants to GO.
Pluto rules the subconscious that which lies beneath the
surface and there is something in the subconscious that does not want to let go. This is the resistance we are battling right now. The Resistance to change, letting go; moving forward. The pull to stay in the status quo is strong.
You may feel this energy in your body as nervousness, stress, fear, anxiousness; irritability.
You may experience it in your day to day as road rage, arguments with people, forceful and
destructive weather patterns; being a bit too quick with your tongue.
Be careful around sharp objects, open flames, while driving and operating machinery.
But hey this energy could also create lucky and surprisingly quick turn arounds!! It's the kind of energy that could be so explosive it turns rock into
diamonds. It's Eclipse Season after all. That time when anything can and will happen. Expect the unexpected.
What can you do with all of this tense, fast moving energy?
Allow it to fuel your creativity however you express yourself.
Writing, painting, dancing, sculpting, singing, acting, playing guitar, your athletic
endevours.
Exercise.
Garden.
Cook up a storm.
Clean your closets.
All much better options then arguing and lashing out at those around you.
