The first Eclipse of 2016 is upon us, a Total Solar New Moon Eclipse in the sign of Pisces on March 8th peaking at 8:58 pm Eastern Time ~ March 9th at 1:59 am UTC. It will last for four minutes and nine seconds and will be visible in parts of Indonesia and the Pacific Ocean. Readers in Eastern Australia, South and East Asia will see a partial eclipse.
Eclipses usher in wild card energy, rapid change and surprises. They force us out of our comfort zone and anywhere you have been humming and hawing you will feel a push to make a decision and choose for
something new. Our blocks are illuminated and truth is revealed.
The upcoming Solar Eclipse holds powerful healing energy. It's time to release, for endings and thus new beginnings.
The New Moon is always a time for a fresh start. Add in Eclipse energy and the power of New is turbo boosted. It's time for a fresh start, to let go of the old, flow forward rather then resist change. Be bold in your choices, intentions and actions. Anywhere you are resisting will become very apparent.
Because this New Moon Solar Eclipse is in the sign of Pisces with a strong Ceres, Chiron and Jupiter effect unresolved issues from the past will rise up. The hours leading up to the Eclipse and for 3-4 days following can be quite emotional as these unresolved issues surface for attention, acknowledgement and release.

Change triggered by the Solar Eclipse will show up immediately in some ways and then develop over the next six months. In some
cases it may take up to two years for Eclipse changes to fully resolve and unfold.
