February 8th is both the New Moon and Chinese New Year ushering in the Year of the Red Fire Monkey. Lots of energy moving, assisting us on our Ascension Journey.
Let's start off with the New Moon in the sign of Aquarius happening at 9:39 am Eastern Time. New Moons always offer us the energetics for fresh starts, new beginnings
and since we have just come through our first Mercury Retrograde period for this year we are ready to get going. MR was a challenge for many as the energies worked diligently to flush out limitation and density asking us to review and re-assess many areas of our lives. Some of us experienced change during MR as that information flowed forth and action steps were required. It was a time of deep insight and creativity. Now it is time for all of us to take our new
awareness, perspectives and inspired actions steps and set them into motion. Tomorrow's New Moon will assist.
Because the New Moon is in the sign of Aquarius the energy highlights our personality, self expression and has us looking forward. This New Moon is a
fabulous energy to express yourself as your unique self.
A piece of information I am also receiving is that love, self love and money are highlighted. Perhaps a windfall will come your way or that cute guy or girl will flirt with you. Be open. And remember the New Moon influence stretches four days before and after the actual event.
Although a New Moon is a dark moon, meaning we are unable to see the moon in the sky it is shining a light on what is hiding in the dark. Hiding in the dark recesses of our mind, perhaps in the heart; our body or energy field. The New Moon shows us what to let go of whether it is a person, thought, habit or attitude. Chiron is also getting in on
the act. When Chiron has a strong influence it tends to bring up hurts, wounds, old memories; stagnant energies. Issues may get triggered. Remember it's a good thing as the trigger allows those issues and energies to rise up to the surface and release. A little inner work may be required.
This New Moon has a strong Uranus and Saturn influence. Saturn is helping us with ambition and integrity and Uranus is assisting us to leap into the future with revolutionary ideas, solutions and being okay with experimenting. Sometimes as we seek solutions in our life we have to try many different avenues, seeing what works, what doesn't and adjusting along
the way. Old solutions aren't working any more because we are in a new energy with new vibrations and new Light. Uranus says: Let's experiment and try something new!
February 8th is also Chinese New Year ushering in the Year of the Red Fire Monkey. What I find interesting and would like to note is that the Monkey is the
9th sign of the Chinese Zodiac. We are in also in a 9 year ~ 2016. That means nine energy is strong and in numerology, nine is the energy of closures, endings, and the competition of cycles. I've been talking about this nine energy for months.
We move from the year of
the Sheep, slow, methodical, herd, to the fiery, passionate Monkey in a year of closure. What I am being told is that finances personally and globally will experience rapid and radical change. Your energy field will determine what that means for you specifically. So use the New Moon Energy to release and let go of fear, worry and limitations around money.
Year of the Monkey will also allow for Birth. Whether that means you have a child, for the ladies reading, or birthing a project or idea. Moving to a new location. Finally expressing your true Self, creating yourself as you truly be.
It is a beautiful lead up to March Eclipse and Equinox. In fact the Equinox energies are already building up. I can feel them stirring in my solar plexus and in my minds eye I view a light column from my solar plexus connecting to the Equinox Star Gate already receiving vibration upgrades and loads of inspiration.
